Halak, Canadiens end Canucks’ 7-game run (AP)

The Montreal Canadiens finally gave Jaroslav Halak an opportunity to bounce back from a loss and he delivered a stellar performance and a huge win. Halak made 45 saves, Sergei Kostitsyn, Maxim Lapierre and Tomas Plekanec scored, and Montreal snapped Vancouver's seven-game winning streak with a 3-2 victory over the Canucks on Tuesday night

Habs’ Cammalleri hurts knee, out 6 weeks (AP)

The Montreal Canadians top-scorer Michael Cammalleri will be out for about six weeks with a knee injury. The team announced Tuesday that he won't need surgery. Cammalleri was injured during a 3-2 overtime loss Saturday in Ottawa when he fell awkwardly into the boards after being hit by Anton Volchenkov

Being an NHL scout has to be one of the easier jobs in the world. I admit, a minor league hockey scout probably has a tough job - traveling to obscure cities in Oklahoma, Alberta, Vancouver, Nova Scotia, and Texas; low pay; lots of hours; writing reports on people that no one knows
